ABOUT MACARONS
- What ingredients are they made of ?
Macarons are made from almond flour, sugar, icing sugar, and egg whites.
- Do they contain flour ?
No, they do not contain flour.
- Are macarons Parve ?
The macaron shells are all Parve, however, the ganaches are either Parve or Halavi.
- How should macarons be stored ?
When macarons are filled (with ganache), they should be stored in the refrigerator (between 2 and 4 days depending on the flavors chosen). If you wish to keep them longer (between 1 and 2 weeks), you can place them in the freezer. In both cases, they should be in an airtight plastic box (Tupperware).
- Is it dangerous to consume them after the 4 days of storage have passed ?
No, there is no health risk, only the texture of the shells may become softer or crunchier, and the ganaches may lose flavor.
- Are macarons gluten-free ?
All shells are gluten-free, and most of our flavors are too. Only certain flavors contain gluten (we indicate this under each relevant macaron).
- Are they kosher ?
Yes, all the ingredients we use in manufacturing are Kosher Teoudat, however, we do not have a certificate.
- Are macarons vegan ?
Unfortunately, no, we will let you know when that is the case.
